About Us
Still a few decades ago Coffee was a household beverage for Southern India and a winter pleasure for the rest of the country. We decided to “Make it for All” and make it easily available for All. So, with various researches, hard work, training, experiences and guidance under “The Coffee Board of India” we established our brand “Sorrota Coffee” in Odisha, where coffee is known as “Tribal” product ( Koraput Valley).
As we know, Coffee is one of the highest consumable food beverages in the world, then why not in India? Here we started working with Three generations to understand the different household and commercial needs of Coffee.
Here in “Sorrota Coffee” we believe in “Craft” instead of “Manufacturing”. We do Roasted Coffee Beans, Filter Coffee / Ground Coffee, Deal with Instant Coffee / Tea and Coffee & Tea Premixes. We believe in Fresh Production, So we start production only after receiving the order.
The founder, Mr.Jayabrata Banerjee, after completion of his higher education, understood the need of the hour who believed to do something for his small hometown rather than working with MNC’s. So involving three generations of his family he embarked on the way to mark his goal. Today with passing times and in this modern era our Managing Director, Mrs. Ruchira Mukherjee, a young leader, along with the qualified and dedicated team members, leading the organization towards our mission “To touch everyone’s heart by coffee
